The Kodak DCS 460 (1995): the Rolls-Royce of digital cameras of the time
    The first with a 6 MP sensor (3060 x 2036) and a magnification ratio of x1.3 (APS-H)
For the exorbitant price of $36,000 US

In 1998, Kodak introduced new DCS cameras (the first DSLRs with a color screen on the back)
including the DCS 315 (a low-cost version), which was based on the Nikon Pronea 600i (6i in the US).
The Famous APS (new film format)

    Kodak DCS 460 (1995)
    6 MP APS-H CCD sensor (3060x2036)
    First 6 MP digital camera

    Kodak DCS 315 (1998)
    1.5 MP sensor (1524x1012)

I really enjoyed Petapixel's write up on these. We all owe the digital cameras in our hands today to the giant that was Kodak.

Thanks for the link, I'm not inclined to go to PetaPixel. 😎

    I'm a big fan of Kodak's DCS cameras. 😇
