The famous swinger model 20 was released in 1965!
I wanted to buy one with my sister. Unfortunately, my mother didn't approve. 😩
And rightly so, rollfilms weren't cheap. $$$$

I made up for it years later 😁

It must have been one of these I remember a demo of. My mother had gotten tired of my father's photography [he used a MF with fold-out lens, an Agfa I think] and wanted a camera of her own. So she took us kids in the tram to a department store 'in the city' [as we called the center], apparently not wanting to go to one of the photo stores round the corner.
The sales clerk made an enormous mess of the demo, wasting most of a roll without anything recognizable developing. Embarrassment on all sides. She later bought something from Kodak

Following Polaroid's success, Kodak launched its own range of instant cameras.

I've seen this image or images very similar lots of times. I understand the camera is a SLR type. But what does the viewfinder look like? Does it have an eyepiece?

ps could you make a modern instant camera by combining a digital camera and a portable Instax printer into one Frankencamera?

Original and deluxe versions, are true reflex, on the other hand, the cheaper versions have a small viewfinder.
The difference between the examples can be clearly seen here.
