I came by this house the other day where the real estate agent put a sticker over the 'for sale' sign that said (translated from 'succesvol verkocht') 'successfully sold'
What? LOL, anyone cares to guess what an 'unsuccessfully sold' house looks like?

Successfully sold house is house sold in short time and above asked price. Unsuccessfully sold house is house sold after long time on the market and below asked price.
Haha, obviously a very international oriented real estate agent in the tiny city of Monnickendam. Did not know that and neither did the about a dozen friends I showed these images to who all had a good laugh.
Ok, so whenever I see this guy sell a property without a 'sold successfully' sign I instantly know it's sold beneath the asking price. Good info in this shrinking market.
