This came about after a conversation with someone about what you can see from inside your house. Taking interesting (or not) pictures without having to travel too far is always ideal. Pictures don't have to be landscape to be good - they can be street, urban, even odd things happening. So, let's see what you've got - and feel free to comment on any others that are displayed here.

So, as a starter, here's what I can see through two windows at the back of my house (and the mark on one isn't on the sensor, it's on the window!)

    So, what's outside your house?

    Alan,

This is one of my favorites I call it Pretty in Purple. It was right after a tornado had moved through, and yes, the sky really was that color.

This is what my camera sees at present. With the naked eye, the scene is much more obscure. I will try again when the sun is nominally above the horizon...

    Across the valley

This was taken from inside the house last weekend in Mühlbach, although I did open the patio door so you don't need to see any dirt on our windows ;-)
The roofs of the two houses on the other side of the valley only really become visible in winter when the sun shines directly on the first snow.
In all the other seasons they are hidden, almost completely, by the leaves of the trees in front of them .
