The Weekly Collegial Show Your Photos Starting 2 March 2026 Any Brand

This is the weekly Collegial Show Your Photos Any Brand thread where we invite you to show your own pictures. It is collegial in that it is a pleasant and friendly place among photographers to share.

I will begin this thread each Monday (Pacific Standard Time) to give each of you all the chance to share your weekend photos with us, for those that follow a regular work week schedule and choose to do it that way. But the pictures can be taken at any time with any camera, including your cell phone. It's open to all skill levels from beginners to advanced. The images posted can be anything from casual snaps to extraordinary. I'll be sure to comment to each of your photos, if you choose to share. Replies from others are encouraged also.

The intent of this thread to mainly to just show photos in a relaxed way and to generate replies or comments about them. Generally I'm not planning to critique any image unless asked. But I or we may ask things about a photo that may develop into a discussion, always being friendly and helpful. It has been a request that I mention this and from what I've learned from past experience: Can you ask a member first if they would mind you editing their photos?

Remember it's all about the enjoyment of taking pictures regardless of what we have. We can learn from each. Please share any tips or techniques too. A narrative sometimes also helps. Thanks everyone for your participation.

Subject: Pedestrian Bridge

In mid-January I went back to an area that has a very large pedestrian bridge. I've always been fascinated by it. This time we had light rain and as a result there were very few people walking about.

Photo No. 1 - Just before I reached this bridge I saw these deer. Later I walked around to see if I could find them again, but they were gone.

I hope you like the pictures. I may have shown this bridge previously, but these were different without people and during a wet and dreary day.

You did show that bridge and park before, It does look different with those rainy circumstances😀
And even with the rain a nice set to look at

It almost like spring where we live the last few days, sunny and temperatures up to 15c during the day, only the nights still colder with temperatures close to 0c
Perhaps the temperature is to high for the moment, but perfect for a nice hike again this weekend
Decided to visit the Ooster- en Westerveld/zand area and Brandeveen area.
Followed a trail we mixed with some Hiking nodes and other marked trail parts

It's nice to see your spring-like weather. I see the new green leaves and insects on the ground. Are those ants? We are also starting to find some green leaves on low-lying vegetation in our forest. Once I saw some white tree blossoms and took pictures of it.

OK, thanks for the confirmation that I did show you all that bridge. With the rain, hardly anyone was there, so it gave me an opportunity to show it empty. I was excited to take pictures of the deer. But the deer bolted after that and because the fence and vegetation was in the way, I could not zoom any more closer without blurry distracting elements.
