This is the weekly Collegial Show Your Photos Any Brand thread where we invite you to show your own pictures. It is collegial in that it is a pleasant and friendly place among photographers to share.

I will begin this thread each Monday (Pacific Standard Time) to give each of you all the chance to share your weekend photos with us, for those that follow a regular work week schedule and choose to do it that way. But the pictures can be taken at any time with any camera, including your cell phone. It's open to all skill levels from beginners to advanced. The images posted can be anything from casual snaps to extraordinary. I'll be sure to comment to each of your photos, if you choose to share. Replies from others are encouraged also.

The intent of this thread to mainly to just show photos in a relaxed way and to generate replies or comments about them. Generally I'm not planning to critique any image unless asked. But I or we may ask things about a photo that may develop into a discussion, always being friendly and helpful. It has been a request that I mention this and from what I've learned from past experience: Can you ask a member first if they would mind you editing their photos?

Remember it's all about the enjoyment of taking pictures regardless of what we have. We can learn from each. Please share any tips or techniques too. A narrative sometimes also helps. Thanks everyone for your participation.

    Subject: Red Corvette

I saw a red Corvette a few weeks ago. I just had to take its photograph. It's a beautiful "ticket-me-red" car. 😀

    Subject: Outdoor Dancing

I saw what-appeared-to-be outdoor dancing at an university. But I still am not sure. What do you think? What were they doing? It seemed like dancing, but there was no pattern or logical display of motion. Anyway, they looked like they were having fun and I was able to capture it with my camera.

I prefer the older Vette (C1 and C2) 😁 but a nice shot
I don't know what the silos are, perhaps a local can give more info.
That's is an illegal way to get a ride for the skater, well at least here it's good for a fine.
Not sure what those students are doing 😁

I'll post some photos tomorrow, right now I'm busy with a few laptops...
My work laptop decided to stop working, so now I'm switching my other laptop and rebuilding that one for my work.
And a new one is ordered

Yeah, the older classic Corvettes are very popular. I'm not sure if this is a C7 or C8 Corvette.

I'm glad you mentioned that about the skateboarder. I did check before I posted these two photos, that the town that this was taken in, allows skateboarders to ride on the streets. Now not all towns allow that in Oregon, from what I was reading. I'm not sure if hitching a ride like that is legal, but I assume it's OK too. I thought it was an interesting "street photo", other than just seeing people walk around. I thought it was illegal too as you did, until I looked it up.

I hope you figure out what's wrong with your laptop. Does it enter into the BIOS, after you remove the hard drive? I was watching people rebuild laptops on YouTube. Apparently, some people damage the motherboards or other internal components when they remove the covers. I'm always careful to use a plastic "pry tool" or my fingernails to remove the covers...never a screwdriver.

OK...we'll wait until tomorrow for your photos. Thanks for your comments. 😀

My home laptop has become my new work laptop, and I ordered a new one for using at home 😉

Last weekend was again nice with some good weather for a hike, visited the Drouwenerzand and De Branden area for a nice hike.
And we spotted a few birds 😜

It's nice to see the green leaves. We are getting a lot of them also. I like seeing the blue sky and clouds (as always). Are the birds a flying goose, a swan, a Eurasian Coot and a female Mallard Duck? With 700mm (500mm x 1.4) focal length you can get close. I'm glad to see you like to "hunt" for these birds too.
