Charlotte, perhaps a browser issue for me but I am not getting notifications for threads or replies. I have checked those in my profile, but not the email option. I assumed I would see the blue flag but I am seeing nothing that I did not see yesterday before I changed those settings.

Any ideas?

I'm not Charlotte, but, here's what I see:

As you can see two threads are flagged - the ones below aren't - and there is a time since last post shown at the right.
If I click on the time - I am taken to the last post.
I thought clicking on the flag was supposed to take me to the first unread post but it doesn't seem to.
Is that the same as you get or not?

Hum - strangely, the list of threads doesn't show any of those under the Weekly M4/3 SubForum

I do 99% of my online on an Android tablet. I'm not sure what browser it has, that kind of stuff is a bit above my head. When I open a new page, it shows Google, but I'm pretty sure that's not the browser.

Thanks for the welcome! I always intended to follow the group wherever it ended up -- I just hope the growing pains don't frustrate people into leaving. I know I'm finding it clumsier than DPR. Oh well, at least I found the permalink option so I could send a particular image (the yawning cat with no teeth) to a friend. 😸

Bald Eagle

In our zoo, I'm sorry to say. This bald eagle was unperturbed as I was just about 10 feet away looking through chain link fencing. It may be one which has been rescued and no longer viable in nature. It is favoring its left wing. I will ask next time....or maybe I shouldn't.
Andrew, I used Nik Color Efex as last step on these. I got lots more depth and definition from the tonal contrast and detail enhancer. Rich

I got no blue flags Jim. However, a few minutes ago I got some. Maybe the software is slow and took 24 h to show the flags? Who knows. I am hoping not to have to post here, that the group will move to dprevived.com/c/the-weekly-m43-talk/135/ but they are reluctant to do so. Perhaps they skipped over the reply I made earlier in this thread and paid it 'no never mind', as a former student of mine once said.

There are no flags to see in that forum since no one seems to have gone there! Well, very few anyway! The Welcome from AlanSH has them running confused in another direction!

To be honest Dave, I don't know! One is definitely not, the other could be. My recollection is weak but I do not think either are. We would have been at the rink because our grandson was playing but I shot anything that looked interesting. Without a number or a head on face shot I can not tell many of them apart from those early years.
