I forgot about this one! Another backyard quick shot from a couple of days earlier. East Passage... looking northwest. Cropped and re-sized. You can see a ferry on the water (toward the right) and also the Alki Point light.

I think I prefer the first one.
The second one has a nice composition. It looks a little bright on my monitor, my personal taste would be a bit darker with a touch more contrast -
Of the two posts I like this one best.
It's quite relaxing to look into that wide open space and just enjoy all the sunset colours -

Holy bat cave. The rule of thumb for high country backpacking/hiking is 2 mph + 1 hour per 1000 feet of altitude gained. So 14 miles round trip comes to 7 hours + 9 hours for 9000 feet is an estimated 16 Hours he did it well sub 4. Amazing.
