    The Weekly Street Photography Thread.

We are hoping to get your images and hear what other members think about them.
It is open to all members of the forum; members can post a single image or a selection of images on a theme in a single post. Multiple posts are allowed.
What constitutes street photography has always been debatable. There are several opinions about it, and we do not want to restrict participants. You can post whatever you deem fits into the genre; however, please be prepared to hear criticism as well.

    Guidelines:
    1. We aim to increase the popularity of street photography and encourage our fellow photographers to be more interested in the genre.
    2. Give your photo a title and include any other information you think is relevant. I personally love to know why you made this photo, what attracted you to make it, and why you like it. But this is NOT MANDATORY.
    3. A single image or a theme-based group of images are allowed. No multiple posts, please.
    4. If you post an image, that means you are ready to hear feedback.
    5. We want to hear your thoughts about others’ posts.
    6. Please keep all posts civilised and polite.
    7. Unless specifically stated otherwise by the original poster, please do not modify the images

This road is beautiful and you captured the leading lines really well. The subtle colours are very nice, too. The lady on the RHS adds a lovely touch to the composition.
Have you ever considered framing the scene between the railway tracks from a lower point of view, shooting slightly upwards with a slightly longer lens? I mean, I always exercise my mind by thinking about how I could capture a scene differently from my previous attempt and I’m doing the same exercise with your frame now. It might not look any better, but I think it’s always nice to try and see what happens.

    Hola Kadir.
Sometimes it’s tricky to find a gap in the crowd to get a reasonably clean shot, but the lighting at some of these stands is a chiaroscuro paradise...

They are cheaper than before. You know every classic car has a group of buyers/admires. People want to have things when they were young ( possibly they could not afford it at that time or had emotional connections). When they got to a certain age to indulge themselves with their disposable income, they tend to buy them. Hence, this makes the things more expensive. The admirers of 60s cars are well over their 70s and, unfortunately for several reasons, they can’t drive or keep their cars, and the next generation has not the same feeling about their admired objects, which makes them cheaper. I am in the same boat. I really want to get one of Mercedes W114s, which my father bought one in 1976 and had to sell later due to financial problems. I can afford one, but a 50 year old car is expensive to maintain. Other than W114, I really like Corvette MK2 and Jaguar E-Class' aesthetics.
