All 2mm of it. Trying out newly delivered Kenko extension tubes on 60mm Macro.
Used Affinity Photo 'Focus Merge' .... sort of works ok but blurs part of the image.

Looks really good. Only blur I see is in what is before or beyond the thin DOF

Thanks, perhaps I was being over critical.
Actually I was a little bit lazy & took a series of E-M1 Mark II 'in-camera' focus bracketing shots, 5 in all, set to a max of 15 in steps of 3.
I first used Affinity Photo Focus Merge to just merge the 5 final jpg files the camera produces.
I had advanced the focus very slightly between shots to increase the overall DOF. That produced the above result.

I then merged just 70 of the normal jpg files that are produced.

I watched the Focus Merge process in progess & Affinity Photo actually does an incredible job of aligning all 70 despite there being
quite a bit of misalignment. The result was the same but produced a slightly smaller image.

Without AP's Focus Merge the reflected image was not in focus so in some ways it was quite a success with increasing the DOF.

The stability of the mount becomes very obvious when taking macros.
Just leaning on the table I was using would shift the focus microscopically.

It's a new adventure for me & I see there's quite a way to go before I reach anywhere near the perfection of oneofone25 who images
are a true inspiration to macro photography.

I have some ideas & shall build a new rig to improve on my current setup.
