Good morning to everyone wherever you are in the world...
Many thanks to Alan for setting this up. We have one more week on DPR but I thought I'd run this in parallel to bed it in and give it a test.

• Please reply to my original post when submitting your own pictures. (To Be Confirmed! Still trialling this setup)
• This long-running thread originated on DPReview has grown into an all-inclusive community in which all brands of camera are welcome.
• Leave your guns and knives at the door. Keep it polite.
• The word ‘Equivalence’ is banned.
• First thread kicks off Saturday morning (UK time).
• Don’t just post and run, try to comment on other peoples’ work. We all like feedback.
• Newbies encouraged, any standard.
• Photographs do not have to have been taken this week.
• Pictures of ducks in the local park, cherry blossom close-ups or homeless people? C’mon, you’re better than that.
• Posting here implies you’re happy to receive a critique of your work.

I hope they will find a way to implement threaded posts, otherwise it is a pain to follow.

Ok let's try and get started on the weekly thread here. The guys who have set this forum up so quickly are doing a brilliant job, and I think they intend to make some improvements in the future.

Here is a couple of pictures of the river Po,a 15th century sculture I found in Viadana and the Cathedral in Modena. I have posted these[![DSC_6579.jpg] before elsewhere.

Image captured hand held Oly OM-D E-M1, 75-300 mm lens at 300. The second image is processed with LrC and DeNoise done with ON 1. The other process with LrC and DeNoise done in LrC also is the first image.
Comments welcome.

Hi everyone!

I hope I got that right - first time I'm posting here and in this thread (have never seen it on the old forum). Because I was almost exclusively taking part in the 'Adapted lens talk' section, it's probably no big surprise to hear that my shots are created with manual focus lenses (enlarging-, repro- or projection lenses in particular) adapted to my bellows system, which is attached to a Canon EOS R5.

Just wondering .. as you have a sub tread here why are we putting these in a linear thread that will top 100 entries and be difficult to wade through!!!???

Your second to last bullet point and fifth to last are likely contradictory. And many longtime photographers post some great images of "ducks" (refer to DPR Nature and Wildlife). If it was an attempt at humor, it was a failure. And can we not post images or buildings in France and Italy? We've see them a thousand times. ;-)
