Good to see you and your thread over here ...

A quick find .. using the M5.3 with the P12-60mm lens .. I really wasn't looking for birds that day ...

    WhyNot

    Ah but that's a coot, not a duck ;-)

Of course ... your right .... I just didn't look hard enough

Just wondering .. as you have a sub tread here why are we putting these in a linear thread that will top 100 entries and be difficult to wade through!!!???

It was just a test post, I was surprised people have already taken to replying. Although if I have been given the entire subcategory, people can submit an individual post directly to that, rather than replying to my OP. I presume that is what you're alluding to? We can try both to see which works better, although I suspect people will simply do both.

Your second to last bullet point and fifth to last are likely contradictory. And many longtime photographers post some great images of "ducks" (refer to DPR Nature and Wildlife). If it was an attempt at humor, it was a failure. And can we not post images or buildings in France and Italy? We've see them a thousand times. ;-)

You can post them, just don't expect me to comment on them :-)

    My first post here,
Thanks to all involved for setting this up so quickly. I have the feeling it might become even more popular here in the general section ?
My new PC is broken at the moment, so here, by way of introduction, are some old favourites from my old computer.

Wonderful shots- particularly the last two. Love the colors and light you were able to capture in my home country! Always a good reminder to be grateful for being able to live in such nice surroundings.

    Hi everyone!

I hope I got that right - first time I'm posting here and in this thread (have never seen it on the old forum). Because I was almost exclusively taking part in the 'Adapted lens talk' section, it's probably no big surprise to hear that my shots are created with manual focus lenses (enlarging-, repro- or projection lenses in particular) adapted to my bellows system, which is attached to a Canon EOS R5.

Really like the second shot, with all those patterns.

Apart from from a bit more light on the wings I can't see a huge difference between the two on my monitor at least. It's a nice shot though.

Ok let's try and get started on the weekly thread here. The guys who have set this forum up so quickly are doing a brilliant job, and I think they intend to make some improvements in the future.

Here is a couple of pictures of the river Po,a 15th century sculture I found in Viadana and the Cathedral in Modena. I have posted these[![DSC_6579.jpg] before elsewhere.

The river pics don't really click for me, but I like these sculpture pics!

Lisbon, Portugal. Touch of distortion I guess. If one puts a finger over the front of the tram in the reflection it seems to level it. The front of the tram in the reflection seems to tilt left.
