All very different, all very high quality.
Not what it seems! Not Italy but north Wales, not a village but a hotel. This is Portmeirion, designed and built by the architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis. Looking like an Italianate village, the buildings are hotel and self catering accommodation and cafes/restaurants. The village is open to day visitors. For those with long memories, it was the location for the iconic (or, depending on your point of view, completely pointless) television series "The Prisoner".

Finally some nice Spring weather in Gouda NL, so I went out with the Nikon Z5 and Z 1.8 35mm.

And some close-ups:
A few from the Gouda Museum Garden, where they keep fragments saved from historical buildings that were demolished:

One of the porters in front of the Town Hall. They loaded and unloaded the ships in previous centuries
and played an important part in Gouda's prosperity:
Thanks for looking and hopefully you were not bored like Karel, the museum cat 😉

Yes, I'm old enough to remember that television series with Patrick McGoohan 😉
Great location, nice to see how it looks today.

Went for a short holiday trip to France. Took several cameras and lenses with, but the most used was the 1Ds Mark ii + EF 28-80 2.8-4L. What a great camera, totally (still) in love with the natural colours it produces.
