Yes indeed, the young one with the cool sunglasses looks like he's eyeing this guy up for a few more ideas. Possibly he'll be a future star :-)

I have been mostly playing around with the strange Schneider shift lens I found on eBay, but I did fit some other photography in after a job this week. This week, it is again "Case Torre, (Tower Houses) one of my favourite subjects.

Casalino. I like these unusual dove lofts

Gombio. A splendid Casa Torre, sadly run down, with the Lombard Rose carving on a lintel

Pietradura.

This strange shift lens has an unusual shifting mechanism. I like something about the rendering.

Did Elvis leave the building? Maybe. but it looks like we have a junior Elvis.

Summer on the Penkiln Burn. There's been no rain for weeks and water levels are seriously low already. Unusual for SW Scotland 😧
But great for mosquitoes 😖

I really like this curious abstract shot, with those rectangular shapes.

There is a lot going on in this building, design-wise. I love it but I wonder if people may have been a bit sniffy about it when it was first built.

The first is a great abstract. Love the colours.
The second is really pretty too.

Really like number two!
Number one and three are great abstracts.
With all the greens and yellows and that square shaped pattern, number one is really interesting .
I'm guessing the pattern comes from two standing waves in flowing water at 90 degrees to each other, unless this is one of your famous double exposures ;-)

I like these two best. The building looks quite interesting

Here's lots of shots from an easy tour we made with the extended family yesterday, aunts and uncles and brother and sister-in-laws,...
The trip was planned ages ago, and we were lucky to have more or less ideal conditions on the day, with lovely sunny weather, but not too hot.

Started with a quick look at the lake with that iconic view of the Dachstein glacier in the background.
Pity that there were too many waves for a reflection shot of the mountain in the lake. I'd need to go back another day for that :-)

After a short ride up the cable car, we made the very short walk to the mountain hut at the top and started the day with a beer, roast pork dinner, desert and coffee !!
Not my usual hiking style, but made a nice change ;-)

Then a fairly short walk at the top to the Zwieselalm pastures and back down the cable car again.
