I have come back to these sever times, I cant make out if they are just decoration or are there as moorings. Pretty strange though.

And you found a yellow mooring point to match!

Curious phenomenon. I remember staying in a hotel in northern Greece where the pollen from surrounding pines was forming drifts across the balcony. I think in the water is a much better outcome for hay fever sufferers!

    4. The Black Coppice Boundary Wall

This is the boundary wall around Black Coppice. It runs up from Stronstrey Bank before turning a corner at the base of Grain Pole Hill and then descending down into the Black Brook gorge. A similar wall runs around White Coppice and can be see on the opposite side of the gorge where it passes the Hawthorn tree at Coppice Stile house.

It's been a while since I was last up here. It's good to be back.

    13. On The Path To Drinkwater's

I've taken quite a few shots from this path over the years, but I think this might be my favourite. A very slight nudge of the white balance green/magenta slider has been applied to the sky.

Great set as ever. Glad you're recovered from recent health setbacks.

Looks like an interesting location to explore with a camera. I like the idea of repurposing sites like this. Not sure about the rows of nooses in the last shot though!!

Good morning to everyone wherever you are in the world...so DPR is not going away after all? That presents a moral dilemma, the old home was much easier to navigate in a threaded format but these guys have worked so hard (and no doubt spent a lot of money) to get this site up and running. A penny for your thoughts?

Since I'm working hard to get threaded view going, it would be a shame if suddenly all the people that wanted it go.
But in the ned forums are open spaces, it's not up to the management to dictate what people do or don't do in them (within obvious limits) so you must do wht you think is best.
You'll likely get more traffic on DPReview, that's just a fact.
And there's nothing to stop it being hosted both sites, some photo threads that moved are doing that. One of the things that has evolved is that there is a fair number of people here that don't want to return to DPReview, so we're serving different communities.

And your hard work is much appreciated.

First off, I hope you stay here, because I like a few others got banned in the dying hours of DPR, by a particularly vindictive Mod in a bout of score settling. I re-joined as usual with a new name, but I cannot be bothered with always having to be careful with what I write. I believe they have a threaded view in the works here. I also have doubts about the new owners, so I would say it might be best to see how the wind blows for a few months yet. The guys who got this site up and running deserve our support.

    Now the serious stuff.

"Our manufacturing industry"? You're officially Italian now?
They seem to have made a good job of the renovated areas, particularly the above.
Nice to see a change of tack from you.
