    YELLOW

A sudden accumulation of pollen (from pine trees) appeared on Lake Huron this summer, site not seen in 25 years. Probably global warming is the cause...

I've seen that here in Austria a few times in the recent years. When it happens everything goes yellow!

I really like this shot. The B&W is cool, but the colour version is even better!

A huge derelict industrial site on the other side of Reggio is slowly being repurposed as a technological hub.

Interesting set, as you said, quite different to your usual haunts!

Good morning to everyone wherever you are in the world...so DPR is not going away after all? That presents a moral dilemma, the old home was much easier to navigate in a threaded format but these guys have worked so hard (and no doubt spent a lot of money) to get this site up and running. A penny for your thoughts?

I don't know what's going to happen with DPR going forward, so that is of concern. However, the format there is still vastly easier to navigate than the unthreaded format here, and I find myself, now, back to perusing the DPR forum(s) a few times a day, again, and posting again there, too, again.

From a personal standpoint, I would prefer to see this thread back on the DPReview forum. But, I would understand having a significant amount of reticence about that, given the upheaval of the situation, and perhaps even uncertainty of future changes under the new ownership (in spite of reassurances from the Admins).

    Your call?

I believe that they are working on a threaded view { my preference as well } . I am still posting on DPreview though I read more threads here and will gradually move to here completely. I prefer the moderation , and content here

Remember that dpreview is 25 years old, and has been under Amazon for multiple years. dprevived is less than 1 year old. It is not a surprise that dpreview's interface is better. But l think we should give dprevived a more time to see what they can do.
