    Mountain Milk
Quite a lot of B&W shots from the crowd this week :-)

Two weeks ago, I took my old B&W film camera to the Hochkönig region, hiking from the Kopphütte to the Riedinger waterfalls.
During a break at a mountain hut, we noticed a cowherd rounding up cows for milking. Many Austrian mountain huts have their own cows on alpine pastures, providing milk for fresh dairy products like cheese, butter, and yogurt, all enjoyed by hikers like me.
    Intrigued, I asked to watch,...

    Along the way,

What a fantastic set! All wonderful really, but these portraits are my picks.

This unusual angle has some nice muted colour. I like the repetition in the bridge arches too.

I remember Weston Super Mare as being a sad sort of place where you could not swim, but you could take a mud bath. This church fits the vibe I remember.

The architecture of this building leaves me a bit perplexed.

    What a fantastic set !!!
It must have been a fantastic experience in the past, capturing these moments and witnessing the incredible talent of dancers and actors on stage. The way you have captured these performances is truly impressive.
    Quite enviable !
    p.s. I don't find the grain disturbing

...Quite a departure from your usual offerings. What happened to all the dark shadows ;-)

The way that Big Ben is disappearing in the mist is good,
The water does however look pretty brown and murky.
B&W maybe? with a mid tone change to make that brown part of the water almost black ?

Black and white seems to be the thing this week. Looks like you live in a fast changing city.

Obviously, I was drawn to the Romanesque part of your post. Some pretty impressive carvings. The ferns growing out of the wall adds a lot to the atmosphere of the place.

This one is rather nice. Suitably dramatic sky.

Looks like not a bad life for a dairy cow. Do they have the annual processions up/down the mountain in spring/autumn? Did you taste any of their produce?

I enjoyed this chilly looking walk to the monument.

I get the impression that thre is a lot of subject matter waiting to be explored in those little towns in the area. The water tower is intriguing.

Nice to see some more B&W shots here :-)
    I like these two best.
The shutter speed for the bike shot looks ideal to me. you've panned with the movement of the bike so he's reasonably sharp, leaving the rest a bit blurred, isolating the rider, and giving the impression of more speed :-)

Wow, that is an ugly building!
