I like the 8th tree shot and the 3rd Out in the Open shot. I'm not a fan of the bleached effect for landscapes if I'm honest. But I do use bleached bypass for some urban shots.

2nd shot is a good one and you're so right about the sleeping animal, I thought exactly the same before I read your description.

Reflections always appeal to my photographic senses. This is a nice shot of Italy, I'm sure you're looking forward to going back there soon.
The shot works as it is, but it would also be posible to chop off a little from top and bottom, just keeping the thin cloud. It woul make the interesting details in the land and reflection just a bit bigger.

I enjoyed looking through this set, you have made a nice documentary series of the fun people have dressing up.

Italy up until the Seventeenth century was a pretty violent place, as all the little Dukedoms were always at war with each other in ever changing alliances. Italian history is just too complicated for anybody to understand. A defeated duke could expect a nasty end if he fell into the arms of a competitor.
