    All quite wet indded!
That last one looks almost like you're inside looking through a window covered in raindrops.

Busses are in this week :-)
This one looks almost like it is being stretched in both directions.

Sometimes we go out expecting, or hoping, to get a particular shot, but it doesn't always happen like that.
But often enough, something else will pop up instead. So it's worth going out. Which reminds me I should be out now and not in front of a keyboard ;-)

I asked my daughter to try to stand still for 10 seconds for a long exposure shot. This is her best effort. I had no flash so added a little light with my mobile torch. Phuket, Thailand.

Perfectly successful photography, congratulations to you and your daughter. 👍🏻

    Carpineti

Following on from my set last week, this is the little Romanesque church just outside the castle walls. It was badly damaged in the savage German repression of Partisan activity in the Apennines during WW2, when it was shelled and set on fire. The interiors are from a visit the week before.

    DSC_4332 1.jpg

    DSC_0531 1.jpg

Below the castle I visited a little hamlet that ten years ago when I last visited, was derelict. Now it is being saved by being restored for second homes.

Another set with material for your book ;-)
I think my favourite are these.

Destruction of towns and cities by invading armies is sadly not only a thing of the past. We see such bad news every day on the news, will it ever stop ?

Nice shot but I feel like the bright light in the lower right corner attracts too much attention from the main beauty in the upper left.

    I like it very much.
Your daughter looking at the horizon turns a landscape photo into a cinematic scene. A 2:1 frame would reinforce that.

The autumn time has finally arrived in Austria, in previoius years I've taken autumn pictures in September!
Here's one while standing on the corner of a hairpin bend on the main road leading to our little village in Pilsbach
With the wide angle lens you can see the sharp bend and the incline nicely.
I liked this one, with the bus coming up the hill, best. Maybe I'll use it in next year when we refresh the pictures in our local open air gallery. The audience love local shots!

    DSC_1531 smaller.JPG

    here's three more
    DSC_1470 de smaller.JPG

I dunno, I think the first would have been better without the bus and cars. Or at least with a more interesting vehicle. It's a spectacular composition though, I really like it. As is the second. The light and the falling leaves scream autumn. Great stuff.

Here's another verision of the hairpin bend with just one small car, would be easy to remove it, but the version with the big bus looked somehow more interesting to me. Looked all a bit empty without it. I was thinking if I display it locally people here would think "Oh, I travel with that bus" :-)
An old timer car with a driver wearing old fashioned googles and leather hat would have been great , but none came by ;-)

    DSC_1520 smaller.JPG

I guess everyone will have their own preference but I prefer the red car to the bus. Although I'll admit I prefer the position of the bus in the frame.

While attempting to view these in the annoyingly unpredictable forum slide show, I saw a hairpin shot that had a red car instead of a bus. I haven't been able to find the post where you included it. Anyway, I liked it better because it didn't block the view down the road on the right side of the hairpin.

This is the best of the four. I find focus/motion blur issues with the others.

This is my favorite from the set but I would have spent some time removing the power lines, if it were mine.

The small car is not the distraction that the bus is in your other version. I would get rid of the pole just to the right of the car, though.
