These are my picks. I also like the way branches spreading, it reminds me the spread of vascular tissue in an organ.

It is strange, I have never been asked ID in the UK. I think my Santa Claus features help me to avoid more formality :)

He is more handsome than me I am afraid :)
I liked this shot very much, his smile shows both joy and sorrow at the same time. I am trying to get used to shallow DoF of FF, it is nice to have but not say to handle.

    Happy new year!
I'm on my vacation in Dolomites, without camera so you have to accept my phone image. Got lots of snow on new year night so today was powder riding.

Not sure about "Christ Rising", looks like you've opened the Quality Street.

Yes, shallow DOF is easily the biggest difference. And a bit of a nuisance for street.

Seems you are not into alpine skiing...
Poweder is fresh snow and riding in it is one of most memorable experiences, where you are floating in soft, cloudy substance. This experience is something where people are willing take risks to be buried in avalanche while riding off the marked trails. In marked trails this fresh snow is usually pressed into corduroy, otherwise it will pile up very quickly and make riding difficult. But some ski resorts leave some trails covered with fresh snow so you can experience the powder riding relatively safely.

I don’t expect this to win any praise or prizes… In some 65 years of photography, I have NEVER shot an image at higher than ISO800 and, since digital photography, my cameras tend to be set more-or-less permanently on their base ISO. However, having seen other night photos on the site, I decided to give it a go and switched to auto ISO with a max value of 12500. This is my first attempt - and the camera opted for ISO 8000. I’m not even sure it’s in focus, or is the poor definition due to the high ISO? I played a bit with the noise reduction sliders in Capture One 21, but I’ve no real idea what I’m doing and the camera is new to me. Any hints, tips and suggestions for improvement would be welcome!

Actually, f/5.6 owing to Leica’s way of guesstimating the aperture!

Tinned chocolate sweets with shiny, brightly coloured wrappers. A Christmas classic here in the UK but enjoyed all year round.
