    Humans above humans.
Again, clearing the clutter from my outbox and these seemed to have something in common.

    Tithe Barn

Still much too hot to think about doing any photography here.

Near to where we were staying in Newent, on my recent holiday in the UK, I came across this Tithe barn in a hamlet called Hartpury. It is in a bit of a sorry state. The Bee shelter in the churchyard was pretty cool.

    A slice of Turkish life.

A glimpse into Turkish life reveals a workplace that reflects the country’s unique character, passions, and heritage. President Erdogan’s influence is evident, not only as a dominant figure in the space but also as a key shaper of Turkey’s modern history—a legacy that may last well beyond his time. The Turkish flag stands as the most powerful symbol of national pride.

Football reigns as the most beloved sport in the country, while tea is the drink of choice, with Turkey leading the world in tea consumption by a significant margin. An old-fashioned TV plays a popular reality show that solves murder cases live, capturing the attention of many viewers.

The beauty of Istanbul, the country’s crown jewel, is represented by the iconic Suleymaniye Mosque. The workplace also features a musical instrument and a sign of a local musician, hinting at the rich cultural life that thrives in Turkey.

(I asked ChatGPT to edit my text , I loved it 😎 )

Fluffy clouds on the top of Schneeberg

Maybe you already saw the photos I posted here this week in the Wednesday C&C thread. Here’s some more from that trip.

We, rode up in the “Karbachalm” cable car in Mühlbach, Austria, then hiked on up to about 350m higher to the double summit of the Schneeberg mountain ( at 1938m above sea level).
Then walked all the way down to the Dienten saddle where we’d parked a second car.
Not too hot, a great day for hiking and it didn’t rain until we got back to the car. Well it did rain once, but we were sitting in a mountain hut at that time enjoying the local products and a good beer, so really lucky 😊

These are the views on that day from the top looking over to the Hochkönig mountain range.
The clouds looked nice; big, white and fluffy.
My favourite shot is the first with the photogenic B&W cows sitting down taking a rest, chewing the cud or perhaps just enjoying the view

    DSC_5615 smaller.JPG

looks almost as if the clouds are running out and trickling down the mountain, but these are in fact gravel paths

The many paths up in the mountains here are all well signposted

I really like the layering in this first shot. The framing in the last shot is nice too. Looks like you had a really good hike.

A really nice idea to match an interesting picture. What do they actually do in this place?

I seem to remember you posting something similar to the first shot. This is very nicely executed. The shot of your daughter has something cinematic about it.

    Nice series.
    I like that lion !
Did they used to place many wicker baskets containing the beehives in that building in the last shot?

Shame to see historic buildings like that disappear. Interesting though and I love the beehives.
Weather has broken here, much colder and raining.
