After I posted this it seems much darker and lost all the shadow detail which I can see on my PC, which rather ruins it. Oh well, haven't got time to tweak it.

Last Sunday I decided to take the scenic road that runs along the south side of the Apennines between two passes. The views of the Alpi Apuani along this road cannot really be translated into a photo. I photographed a couple of small country churches along the way.

Ironman does not rust

Photos from Ironman race refueling station on Saturday when I was witnessing and supporting with my shouting this extreme effort. It was windy, so bicycle ride was struggle for racers, but fortunately not very hot.

Needs to be seen big. The shadow detail then becomes visible. A happy summer holiday scene turned into something spooky. I like this picture.

Really cool, how you have made an interesting set out of a single theme. I love picture stories like this.

Same church, but with two different lenses. The first front on is with the 24mm shift. The other from further away and to the left, with diagonal shift, is with my 35mm PC shift lens.

This was with a 45 mm shift lens

Perspective effects change how the bell tower looks.

I really like the delicacy of the second shot.
