An oldie from Hong Kong that I recently stumbled across and eventually decided it was OK.

Odds and ends

I am going through the photographic doldrums at the moment. Its time to change direction a bit maybe, or just let my cameras take a rest for a while. So here are a couple from my last trip out.

Last rays

Our regular 'after dinner walk' now coincides with the sun dipping below the horizon as we reach the furthest point. The grasses (Deschampsia species) catch the light beautifully.

Great pop of colour here.

I sympathise with the doldrums - I'm struggling a bit too. Do you feel the romanesque project is coming to an end? It's a phase that will pass as something new comes along.
I have hundreds of images of windows and often wonder what goes on behind them and what they have 'seen' over the years..

Senior Citizen Day

Yesterday, without paying much attention, I took many photos of senior citizens. They seem to look better as a group, I guess.

Wonderful shot. Very atmospheric.

I don't think that I'm able to add any meaningful comments today, as I'm quite exhausted after doing my first half marathon. It went better than expected but still my brain ain't functioning much as all the carbohydrates from body were left on running course :D

ATVM from London. Crazy band, music was black metal mixed with fusion or jazz elements, singer was very active, running into crowd and climbing to bar counter...

Thecondition from Italy. Interesting black metal band without guitar but with 2 bass guitars. Pizza Mafia, as singer introduced :D

I always wonder, how do these structures still stand? Excellent quality of masonry against environment...

"Flashy" comes to mind, looking at this picture.

These come alive beautifully when you see them enlarged. I find these pictures have a very calm and relaxing vibe.

Yes, they work together better as a group. I like sets of pictures like this, more than that single statement.

The pattern the buildings make in this is appealing.
