    Dave Spart's girlfriends

I am in the photographic doldrums at the moment. These two are variants of pictures I posted late in the week, a couple of weeks ago. For screen use, my iPhone produces shots that can be cropped quite viciously.

    IMG_0982 7.jpg
I think I like this cropped version better.

    IMG_0983 3.jpg

I cropped this too in a different way. I was dying to ask the young lady, why, and how the church were in her panties.

The phone camera is pretty good for this sort of stuff. I used to do a lot of street photography in London back in the day, and my phone with three lenses, is probably a far better tool in every way compared to the grainy shots I got with my old Pentax Spotmatic. Yes, I believe the phone camera has its place in the "serious photography" world.

Yeah, I agree. I use my camera phone to take snapshots when I don't have another option.

I'd go with mono on this one.

The colours, especially from the no parking sign, distract from the subject of the scene.

I think the colour version has much more impact, than the mono one. One of your more offbeat pictures.

I think I agree. Would nearly always go mono for street pics but this seemed more bizarre in colour.

That's a nice shot. It has orange / yellow colour casts here and there, was it through a window?

I know it's not the theme of the photo but I like the green paint against that rich, red brickwork.
