It is good to go back and reassess and take a new look at our older pictures now and again.

These medieval figures are always interesting to look at.

I followed almost same course with cameras, D70, then D200, D300. Haven't reviewed these old photos yet, with modern software they may get bit of quality boost, but 20 years of development has given better cameras.

No trips at this time of year for me so far, the first will start later today :-)
In the meantime here are two images (posted once before) of the lanterns on our house wall. Looks good and gives a bit of Christmas cheer each year to the people walking by.

I like this image, nice balance between cold snow and warm candle light, background lights are also good addition.

I spent quite some time photographing this tree, to the point I started to get cold and had to pop some gloves on, which is always fun when using a camera.

These are my favorites, bit difficult subject being darker than background but well executed.

This one is really good with that decaying stone wall, all covered in moss making a nice frame for a view to the foggy branches
