Nice effect of the tiered gables.

Events? Would love to know 😁

I bet they're pussycats in the daytime 😁 Great captures.

I think this is one of those comparatively rare occasions where I prefer the B&W

Nice geometry in the Walls, and nice textures in Crumbling

Incidentally, this popped into my inbox this week

Great pictures as usual. Is the music as gory as the performers?

I see a slight Aurora. I had to search for the cows.

Did you hand hold these, or have some sort of support?

Footbridges vibrate nicely. It is quite easy just moving your body up and down to set them in motion as your movements quickly align with the natural frequency of the bridge and resonance sets in.

I would have to ask my wife to translate the latin, but she claims to have forgotten it. Her aunt was able to translate all the epigraphs on the stones in a Roman monument we visited once, which was pretty cool.

It seems to me that the greater problem is being able to read all the letters accurately.

Interesting, not anyone I'm familiar with, although I do recognise some of the locations in that brochure, particularly this one that they've used in their banner image right at the top of the page (it overlooks the valley in Duxbury Park for anyone wanting to photograph Chorley's woods on the cheap).

I'm surprised people will pay over £2K for four days in Chorley though, but hey, if people will pay it, then why not.

Excellent shot and processing is just spot on. Love how shadows create symmetry here.

Great photo, I like that scenery is bit hidden behind trees and it's upon imagination to work out what can be seen when following path.

Seems like good location for astrophotography and auroras, now it will be probably best time for it, still long enough nights and getting warmer. Just bit of luck needed...

Thanks. Their music is categorized as black metal, so yes, almost as gory as it gets. Maybe only death metal is even bit further. But it was great energy exchange, i felt myself like charged particle after show.

I propped the camera on a gatepost for the first, on the bridge rail for the second. I did take a tripod with me but was too lazy to set it up.

I was surprised too! Why not indeed. Perhaps there's a lucrative sideline for you there 😉

    Thanks!
Don't know about pussycats but if visiting of rock concert has taught me about something then it's to not judge people by their appearance. And it's not daytime/nighttime, but rather stage/off-stage, I've spoken with some of them and they appear to be similar to "normal" people, just on stage they organize energy exchange. Some claim that rock people are happiest as they can discharge and recharge from music and don't carry frustration to everyday's life. e.g. the-gist.org/2015/08/6594/
Here is photo of singer when she performed with another band and let slip rare smile from otherwise angry stage presence:

Same smile she gives to visitors when she serves drinks at bar as an owner of that place. Same person, two personalities.
