A Favorite Place
After a site visit, I drove up to a favorite spot just outside of Reggio, to get some fresh air. I had just the Z8 with 28-400.

Some good shots among these. I like the girl hanging on the bar, the food shot and the last.
I think there's probably a better B&W profile in that camera. These seem to be a little tonally flat. No real whites. -
Always amazed to see how some trees and shrubs cling to life in difficult circumstances. The last is great, two complementing sweeps of landscape.

It's interesting to see the qualities that make a particular place a 'favourite'. I can understand this one; Maybe not the most spectacular but plenty to keep the interest, and potential for variety over time.

Must have been a brilliant experience. I like the way the vertical ships wake is mirrored by the sea defence.

There is something fascinating about this cut price brutalist tower block.
I have thought about doing a series on the massive condos that were thrown up here in the sixties and seventies, during Italy's economic boom.
