This is a really poor quality picture, taken on an older phone out of a moving car. But I can't delete it, I love the body patterns the two central figures have in relation to each other and the two support acts either side. Somewhere in Thailand.

Athens by night

Working through the last few pics from my Greece trip;

Back lanes of Anafiotika neighbourhood.

We stayed in what turned out to be an awful apartment, but its redeeming feature was the roof terrace with this amazing view! The strange green patch in the sky was made by a lazer beam playing around, I think linked to festivities surrounding the Athens Authentic Marathon weekend.

Last weekend went for two fairly local walks in the mountains to enjoy the fresh air and kick up some of the powder snow with the snow shoes :-)

All three are good but yes, I prefer the 3rd over the 2nd.

The white facade of the building against the dark sky (#1) is very pleasing.
But a nun's 'cell'?
Crazy building in the last, at first I thought the balcony on the right was an internal window.

I appreciate it's not the most dramatic of the three but something about the second makes me yearn to be there.

Bosphorus is seen from Sarayburnu ( Palace's point). It was a very wet morning. The boat is a passenger ferry that runs between Eminönü and Kadıköy and the bridge is the Bosphorus Bridge.

In the first I like the pink tones. I love the fallen tree though, amazing subject and light.
The landscape is lovely although I have seen it before.

This certainly has something that is eye-catching. Maybe the guy stumbling, and the symmetry between the two guys.

This is rather nice. One of those eye leading shots. Out of the two Parthenon shots I prefer the one you posted by mistake.

The fantastic thing about modern digital with IBIS, is that night shooting is much easier now, than it was with film.

Light dusting

We got a first sign of snow recently. Former estate of a local newspaper magnate from 1930's, small hospital specializing in hernia operations at present..

Really like a sense of movement, mainly feet. There is an interesting interplay here between various individuals.

Like that hidden passage, so ancient. Classic.

Love that building, the colours, shape and variety of designs.
