I have nothing new to share this week, so taking my cue from Chris, here's another homage to Frank Gehry. Bodega Marques de Riscal, Elcigo, Spain.

This is a lovely pastoral scene.

In both of these I find the very dark foreground a bit distracting. Maybe lift the shadows a bit there... or is there something unpleasant hiding there? 😉

Stunning. The light works so well for the subject too.

Simplicity always wins.

I like the coloured confusion of the fist frame, as you look to figure out what it is.

I think I'm still recovering from last weeks FluVID as I've been absolutely knackered during these relatively short walks (2-3 miles). I had hoped to get up onto the moors, but reality intervened on that front as just getting to the access gate leading to the moors exhausted me. All taken with the Z8 and either the 24-70 f/2.8S, 70-180 f/2.8 or 100-400 f/4.5-5.6VRS (on each walk I was carrying the 24-70 plus one of the tele-zooms).

Double Trouble

Eventually, she moved a little way to the left of my frame, so I repositioned myself slightly, surprised she still didn't run. As I did, I spotted movement in the bush behind her, followed by another inquisitive face popping out from behind. I think there were at least three doe behind there.

The deer steal the show in this Double Trouble is my pick in this set.

Fantastic, and every time I see Olympus colours, I keep searching eBay for a good used one. I think I should replace my Panasonic G100 with a EM10 for sake of IBIS and colours.

This image creates more questions the more I look at it... I like the colour scheme here.

First photo for me. I almost feel the smell of plants and ground warmed by sun.

Nice addition to otherwise boxy building. But in second image I'd like to see bit more on left side, to see the connection of this guarded part on bottom with building. Now it seems to hang.

I like this Anglezarke image, nice scenery and great light in sky.
Deer encounter was great for sure, I always get hunter's rush when enounter some wild animals.
