This seems most powerful photo of spring.
This seems most powerful photo of spring.
I like the first photo, the reflection of sun makes nice leading line.
Great set of shots, seems like fruitful year for you.
I compiled my year shots by taking one from each month but if was not easier. Haven't counted yet how many have taken this year but it's tens of thousands. Quite lot of them thanks to this forum and thread, trying to get variation of shots to show each week. So thanks to all involved!
Great shot, i like how these cranes align.
This shot was from kind of forced position, as these buildings are in intersection of busy roads and it's not easy to find uncluttered by signs and posts and cables shooting location. But this two-dimensionality of building fails if you look at service rail on top edge of building.
I noticed this 40 year old Porsche 924 in my parking garage. It's in pretty good shape as far as I can see. I used to have a white 924S that did 250k miles without significant issues.
It was amazing what I could carry in the back with the searts down!

Nice car, this red colour ensures that it does not go unnoticed.
These wide angle shots show well how perspective is changed, the front hood seems to have quite different length in these 2 photos.
Eye on eye
Like Dracula pulling his cloak around his shoulders.
My Favourite Shots of 2025
Dawn At Botany Bay Farm
I think this is the only dawn shoot I've done this year, as I've now got a lot more free time on my hands I should probably attempt to do a few more over the coming months. This battered Beech tree has endured all that the elements have thrown at it over the years in its lonely spot on the middle of Withnell Moor, outlasting the long demolished farm it now marks the former location of. I've made a few attempts to shoot this tree at dawn, but I think this is the only one I've shot with the GFX system and I was fortunate enough to be treated to a nice bit of light in the sky on this particular occasion.
Heather At Black Coppice
For some reason or other I nearly always seem to miss Heather Season. This year I remembered, but was undermined by poor light on several visits (including those where I took the GFX) to the edges of the moors, but on this last one I got lucky with nice conditions and soft light.
My two picks from this set.
Hoping 2026 brings you better health and great photography.
