Must take some new pictures, must take some new pictures...

This week i've mostly eaten italian food.

I had holiday trip to Livigno for some snowboarding, right now on my return trip. Didn't bring my camera but took some tourist snapshots with phone.

A beautifully frosty set, the last is a stunner.

Finally, I got out and did some photography! I added some more pictures to my Romanesque project. I had seen the abbey Castione Marchesi before on a special open day, as it was always closed. It is pretty impossible to take good people free shots on these tours.

It is now open every day. So I managed to do things properly with a tripod and my shift lenses. The wide shots are all HDR composites.

I wanted a 15mm shot of the nearby abbey in Busseto.

Good for you! Well balanced HDR shots, I like the light in the first.

But you have two pictures in one, with this one.

Maybe you need a holiday to somewhere interesting.

Phone cameras are getting incredibly good for most purposes.

Why is everybody standing on the tables?

I believe it is the so called "super moon" as the moon appears larger than normal.

Well, that's what I told myself. I went out today and walked 20K, but I felt very cold in the end and got back home. Perhaps I should think about macro photography :)

This is nice. I am surprised you did not take one of your Olympus cams. This is my pick, and it is a statement of mobile photography.

This is the result of flare and toomuch dust and debris on the filter :)

HDR has got a bad name because of those grotesque over coloured low contrast landscapes we see. Actually it is a serious tool for thins like architecture that have a huge dynamic range.

Yes the moon has been amazing over the last couple of nights. The horse adds extra interest here.
