I don't understand train spotting but could see the appeal of boat spotting. They seem altogether more interesting.

Shipshpotting, that's tongue twister :P Were these images taken from the bridge? I think that from above they are not that impressive than taken from the sea level and you can see the waves they create.

    Winter Sun

Not much to share this week, just a couple of grab shots with my phone on a daily stroll.

I like first shot, shows this impressive three better. In second image the cut out tree top bothers me.

    Power

St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto, Canada. Opened doors in 1848...
Every time I go there there's overwhelming feeling of greatness, architecturally, spiritually etc.

Ceiling is interesting, seems to imitate sky with its colour and stars.

There's been a bit of everything this week; wildlife, weather, landscape and so on. Equipment wise, I've mostly been using the Z8+24-70 f/2.8S and 100-400 4.5-5.6S, but the GFX kit came out for a play on one morning too.

    Some Misty Goodness

It's always a treat when there's a bit of mist, particularly as we don't seem to get a lot around here. This shot is looking across the fields that separate The Nab from Anglezarke reservoir towards Stronstrey Bank.

Finally, I caught a group of deer running across a field, effortlessly leaping over the fences, well, except for the one bringing up the rear who seemed to be a bit lacking in the fence jumping department.

I'm calling this one Guardian of The Stones.

These are my favorites, first for mist, second for great action and third for great scenery, these radiant moss covered stones and trees are just fabulous.

Great scenery and I like the colouring here. But the train bothers me, maybe the speed it seems to go it bit too much for this older surrounding and faster shutter speed which shows just some blurriness from movement would have been better?

That moving train makes the picture.
