    Simple things are sometimes difficult

    I am still trying to learn how to photograph my pencil collection properly.

    Getting the lighting right even with the light tent is more difficult than it seems. Choosing the right background shade, is not so obvious. Also getting focus stacking right can be a pain.

    The AI masking in Capture One is pretty useful when I need to adjust the background/subject lighting.

    Yes B&W wins out here. Maybe with a bigger camera and a bit of pimping the colours in post, colour would win.
