Hello there! I was wondering only last week how you were getting along.
I like the shot of the old farm buildings.

Who can resist a rusty hull?!
The second one put me in mind of David Hockney's Splash, the third more of clouds over a sunset at sea.
The route to oblivion ...
Excellent.
Well I do live in Cumbria 😁
Near construction site and mural
On one Sunday some weeks ago I took stroll in Ülemiste. My main target was big mural which is created there but on my way I also took some shots of construction of Rail Baltica terminal.
I enjoyed the shots of the rail terminal taking shape. Murals are fine new but when they fade?
Just - n - Time * - tugboat sitting in a drydock in Southampton, Ontario waiting for refurbishment...
I think I like this one best out of the three. Looks like the boat should be called Just Too Late.
Waxing Gibbous
Well, yes, the moon is there, but not very impressive...
Yes, the moon was nice last week.

Photography was pretty much off the Menu laste weekend, but I got out a couple of times to take some pictures, of this endless beach with (costly) bathing establishments that stretch fo kilometres up the coast.
I liked the single tone view of the calm sea. Not sure if this works.
Very calm and colorful... and yes, it works!

That's quite the tower cane show! Right up my alley. I think the new/large mural fits-in fairly well with the surroundings.
Hello Everyone!
It has been way too long!
I continue to be amazed at how busy I am in retirement. Life is going well. I have lost 27 pounds since January 30th, and I quit drinking entirely. I'm trying to make sure I am healthy enough to enjoy these wonderfully carefree days. I plan a 2-3 month trip to the Western United States this fall, where I can take lots of wonderful photos.
Here are three recent photos I have taken.
That is a nice shot. Congrats on the weight loss! Yes, I think the "big picture circumstances" over the past few years were causing stress and over-indulgence, so... I have cut back on the beer a little bit lately (it was getting out of hand)... and have also lost a few pounds/kgs... which feels good. Have Fun!

Nice! A good eye. Next time I am at the port, I will look for something similarly creative.
A mixed bag of B&Ws
Of course, trains are right up my alley... NICE. The B&W is perfect. No.1 and no.3 are also very cool, intriguing, and mysterious. The "light" in those is excellent.
A handful of shots from the past week. It is always fun to carry the camera and take a picture when the opportunity arises.
I just Googled Smith Tower - What a building! That lobby is magnificent.
The view down on the surroundings is interesting too, with the doll's house building nestled at the foot of the glass tower.
I think this pair show a better sense of their real nature than the other rainy day low light ones I posted a while back. I was surprised that I managed to get as close as I did. Their hearing is really acute. They could hear my footsteps in the grass from quite a long way away even as careful as I was, but keeping still when they looked up and otherwise only moving slowly got me where I needed to be.

Great shots, convey the summer feeling very well, I can almost sense that thick summer field scent.

We were there for a concert. It was pretty difficult to see anything at times, thanks to the cretins who have to film the concert with cell phone held aloft.
Love the evening shot. Sea shot is also nice with its colours but I think it needs something for foreground as an anchor.
I wonder if these people filming concerts view it later or is it just for one-time confirmation: "I was there", posted into social media for likes and forgotten after couple of days. I've seen some people filming almost whole concert with their phone, missing the live show experience and probably never consuming that in canned form either.

Nice shots, though first seems bit unbalanced, maybe cropping quarter or third from left would work better? Or cropping from top and making it "panoramic"?
