It's a little thing, but I find it quite annoying.

When you quote someone else in a reply, there should be one empty line below the closing quote and the cursor should be on that line and active.

If it is a long quote, I have to scroll down, place the cursor and then type. Since most other sites put you at the edit linte automatically, I often find myself replying in the middle of the quoted text.

Agreed, as soon as we find where it does that, it will be changed.

    Bob,

    While you are looking....

When creating a new thread, you type the title. Normally, I would then press the <tab> key to go to the body of the message. But in here, pressing <tab> takes you to then etc. I have to take my hand off the keyboard, find my mouse, click on the body and then type again.

It would be good if the tab order could be re-arranged.

The quote seems to be already arranged.

the cursor land two lines after the quote now

That one goes down to the basics of Django, I think. That just goes to the next field - put in enough tabs and you'll get to the text area.

I don;t fancy pressing <tab> multiple times. Just one more thing to add to the long term feature list 😒

Very long term. As I say, it's right in the basics of how things behave. Martin might have one of his hacks to do it.
