This morning I went to Oakdale Nature Center to see if I could find any birds to photograph.
Got a few shots of a Cardinal in flight, and perched shots of a Cedar Wax Wing, Gray Catbird, and Robin.
Then I spotted this baby Tree Swallow poking its head out of the nest box and chirping for its breakfast.

I missed plenty of opportunities to catch the parents feeding it before getting this series.

Once it swallowed its meal, a sibling pushed its way out. "What about my meal!"

    Thanks Rich.

Well, they keep saying we're going to have to start eating yummy insects instead of cattle, pigs, sheep, deer, fish ...
You're just ahead of the curve!
