I was in a bit of a rut with my photography, so I decided i need to try something new.
I decided that it would be good to photograph my mechanical pencil collection and catalogue them in an Ebook/PDF. I bought a cheap light tent and a couple of small LED lights. I thought it would be an easy project. I soon learnt that is not easy to photograph small often shiny objects.
My small collection is a mix of vintage and modern. It started off with having a few pencils to rotate through for work. I just buy objects I like for some reason or other. My modern pencils were mostly bought in end of line sales. The vintage stuff comes from Ebay mostly.
