Thanks bobn2 and thanks to the administration in general - this forum seems to be forming fast and looks like the most populated out of all prospective DPR successors I've seen. I've put the link to this forum in my DPR signature just to spread the word.
Glad to be here, and thanks to those who made it possible by putting themselves out for the rest of us.
I liked the old DPR and hope that this incarnation ends up with all the same (or more) valuable x-fertilisation and very useful tests, comparisons, etc.
What's the situation on the old DPR content? Will DPRevived be able to download and make available all the legacy content?
The Archive Team is archiving it, and another team is trying to preserve the camera database in an interactive form. These are all complementary efforts.
Yes. Alas I know for a fact that the lack of threaded view is a show stopper for some people. I want it too, but I can live with what we have so far and wait for the goodies.
That sucks. I think it's important we stay together and our only job is really to be a little patient.
Thanks to everybody who is working so hard to get this site up and running. I am a long standing reader of DP review forums, but will definitely try to be a more active poster on DPrevived.
