    Two Questions:

Does the M10 Mark ll or lll allow for live viewing on both the LCD as well as thru the EVF?

Also do you feel the changing of settings to get custom BW images are equal or less on the Mark ll / lll as on the Pen F? ....Thanks, jim

Yes, but not at the same time. It switches to the VF when you bring your face close to the camera. That is the E-M10.2, I haven't used the 10.3.

So you see 'live view'...good. Now, when you are in live view with the EVF, how easy is it to adjust settings? Do your fingers naturally hit upon the controls you need such as shadow adjustment, or exposure comp? jim

Sorry Jim, but I am one of those odd people who never use the VF. I prefer the screen. I don't know the answer to your question.

Don't have an EM10, but was using my beater EPL1 yesterday with the external EVF, and because of sun making the rear screen hard to see, I peered thru the EVF to poke thru the menu. Hadn't picked up this camera in years, so I needed to make sure I had RAW enabled, and IBIS off.

I've used the EVF on this and other M43 cameras to do manual focus with adapted lenses, but I also employed magnification as a focus aid. It's tough for me to see either the LCD or EVF well enough to gauge exposure, and color. Sometimes an incorrect white balance is obvious, but I use either mainly for framing. Fix it the RAW later if necessary,.

This is my thinking too Harry....I feel that the 'idea' or concept of doing all of the adjustments 'in camera' sounds intriguing, unless you are doing some sort of poised image, the idea/concept becomes impractical. There isn't time to do all of those adjustments and yes, why you can have preset custom modes, on the streets, with shadows, sun/light etc...all of that needs adjustment as your subjects move in and out. So it just doesn't pay in my thinking to have too many adjustments. Frame the shot...make it look as good as you can with the time allowed, and do some post processing.
