It is common wisdom that a perspective control (shift lens) lens must be used on a tripod if you want decent geometrically good results. In fact I use my shift lenses on a tripod with an expensive geared head to get everything level, when I can. But My Z7 gives me an opportunity to work well with shift lenses as the viewfinder has a nice electronic level. IBIS lets me shoot at fairly slow shutter speeds. I can also get fairly flawless results up to 2000, before too much noise creeps into the pictures.

Does it work. Yes, and it is great for situations where I do not have too much time. These pictures taken near Parma, of rural architecture, were taken on my Z7 with my Nikon 24mm PC lens.
