I can see lots of interesting bits in this, but the photo, as a whole, doesn't inspire me. I don't know why not. Maybe it would have been better in colour?

¡Hola Alan! thanks for you comment.
I'm afraid it has nothing to do with the color (not very interesting in the original image), but with the movement of the protagonists. This is a small outline of the idea:

But, wow, I guess if I have to explain it is that the image doesn't speak for itself. And maybe “twist” would have been a more appropriate title...

I'm really liking the composition of this photo. The perspective "distortion" really adds to it! If I would criticize anything, it would be that the guy walking above doesn't add anything to the photo, but it feels like he should add something to the photo. I mean, my eye is drawn to him quite quickly, only to find him uninteresting, so he becomes a distraction to everything else in the photo which is great. All that said, I'm not saying to clone him out -- I mean, the scene is what it is, and it's not like he's like a low hanging power line messing up a landscape shot. It's just that he's neither here nor there in the photo (the way I see it) when I had higher hopes for his role in the photo. 😊

Thanks for your comment. The way I see it, the young man above has a supporting role in the scene, marking the exit direction...
