I need to update my wife's 50-140. In the past with the X series the new firmware had to be in the root in slot 1 in on a reformatted SD card.
How does this work using the XH2? Does it need to be in slot 1 which means the CFX card?

On the X-H2s the manual states either card. The rest of the procedure is identical to the past.

Did it with the SD card as usual without problem.
The 50-140mm is amazing -
Same here used SD Card X-H2s no problem with it

I used the Compact Flash card without issue. I guess the camera will search both cards looking for the firmware file.
