I tried to register with my first and last name, separated by a space character. Same as I've done successfully on dpreview and elsewhere.
Why is that not possible here on dprevived?
Can it be fixed?
PS: changing name in profile obviously has the same restriction. ☹️

Yes it's an issue that I'd love to fix, but a bit down the priority list, I'm afraid.
Me too, but in the meantime CamelCase works just fine.
Perhaps an underscore instead of a space?
You can use Unicode for transparent / invisible characters.
Search: unicode for transparent character
Interesting idea. A potential problem is that name searches may or may not work depending on the search algorithm. And some characters (such as "tab") are treated by the UI as actions rather than as entered data.
But if you want a really unique name then by all means go right ahead and stick a "Mongolian Vowel Separator" into it! 😁

Name.Lastname
