I recently dropped a Canon G12 Powershot camera that had been converted to IR a couple of years ago. The impact messed up the LCD screen, making it mostly unusable. I thought I would try out a 720NM filter with my Panasonic FZ2500 and wondered if anyone had used this combo and, if so, did you have an issue with hot spots.
I found that I didn't use the converted G12 as much as I thought I would, so using a filter for those occasional shots would work out better.
