Beautiful scrulpture and a wonderful capture of it. Love how you included the background. I'd usually go for more DOF, but here it works really well in the way you shot it!

I think I agree. Often, I'll bracket the DOF for shots like this, and process the one(s) I like the best. But, I didn't do that for this shot, unfortunately. Processing this photo was a pain in the butt, though, as you can see by the "-- 8" at the end of the image file name!
