Recent and a familiar walk as I taken you along on many days … if you followed me on DPR . .. still a bit windy and the heron seem to be visiting relatives up stream as I haven't seen them for a week or so … but fishermen …. along the bank ..

    Fishing 1.jpg

    Fishing 3.jpg

or from boats out on the water …

    Fishing 2.jpg

and I was a bit late that day and some are already coming in … we'll just watch the boats ..

    Fishing 5.jpg

    Fishing 4.jpg

    Fishing 6.jpg

Some are just here for the sport ….

    Fisghing 7.jpg

But if we look away from the river we might just see our first butterfly of the Spring …

But nothing but dandelions along the river at the moment …

Do you have as warm weather as it looks already? Looks lovely. For once I'm not complaining. We have sunny day with clear-blue sky at last. Alas I have things to do indoors. But I took the long way when I was out shopping.

It is!!... We've had a very warm start to April --high of 89F (~32C) Not all good as I consider this Tornado weather and we combine warm summer like days with long nights watching the weather channel tracking storms so we know when to retreat to the basement! ... A while ago I remember in Chicago having snow somewhere into May and early June ... Climate continues to warm up ....

Enjoy your spring .. get out and bring back some pictures .....

A great way to spend a few hours WN. Provided you have some coffee of course.

I confess I forgot the coffee but my wife always remembers to bring a bottle water so I stay "hydrated" .... but if you come along I'll try to remember the coffee ... but then I thought I might have left you behind at DPR for this trip!!? My error ...

Thanks for taking me along on another of your strolls WN.
Bit late in the day for coffee for me - I like it first thing in the am.
I won't be jealous of your weather much longer - we hit 60 today and we're supposed to have upper 70's next week.
Noticed some of my wife's daffodils are poking up - though we still have 18" of snow in places in the yard ...

Lots of boats on the river WN. Most fishing by the look of things. I like the image with the gentleman fishing along the shore. You showed a different version elsewhere that I like the composition of more. You are getting out and about and that is a good thing. If the good weather holds out here I will have to go do some more garden clean up and work on the spring tractor maintenance.

Any time .... Glad to have you along … We'll go early ...

I'd rather have it 45-55F and not spend any long evenings tracking storms!! … I'd like a longer and real winter & spring but maybe without the snow that stays around …

Thanks for Stopping by, Jim …. come again ….

It was a good day for boats and fishing …. OTOH I try to stay out of boats and do my fishing with the camera …

I took two pictures one from each side different interpretations … I think …

Currently I go where I can get back to the car in a reasonable amount of time …. My vertigo problem seems to have receded for the moment but then it still plays with my mind ….

I've reached an age when I appreciate someone else taking care of the yard … a bit sorry about that ...

    Breaking a long reply by one respondent to comment on each of their points individually is one thing;
I want to figure out how to do quoted replies to multiple respondents in one message.

I'm not sure you could do that in the original DPR .... I guess I would try cut and paste to a word processor, edit ti off line and then try pasting it back here!..... Let us know how it works ..
