This is one of the several picturesque small bridges in the gardens around Lake Taihu, Wuxi, China

Beautiful contrasting colors. I am always a sucker for a reflection.
I do find the background features to be distracting. Perhaps you wanted to include them but if this had been shot from a lower angle, those would have been minimized or gone and the mirrored reflection would have been emphasized.
Thank you camperjimk.
You make a good point.
I took this photo back in 2014 and at the time thinking too much about composition wasn't as high a priority as it normally is now for me.
Nice little bridge. I like when some surroundings are present, shows how it works with landscape. What are these blueish blotches?
Thank you sagittarius.
I don't see any blueish blotches on my screen. I see some blueish tone small elements but I wouldn't say blotches.
Feel free to download the image and repost with the 'blotches' circled.
The blotches you see might have something to do with the colour grading I applied to the documentary version of the image.
This is the documentary version.
My first observation was, surely not easy for people in wheelchairs, with such an inclined angle. 🙄
Nice picture 👍🏻
Thank you Maoby.
Yes, you're probably right. I never really thought about it. Maybe wheelchairs or something similar didn't exist circa 1050 AD when the bridge was built.
Love the almost ethereal glow under the bridge and in the reflection
Thank you Sagittarius.
Those blueish elements are a result of the colour grading I applied and look ok and not unusual or out of place on my screen, especially when I view the image full size.
But yes, in the thumbnail they stand out a bit more.
Thank you TheDavinator. I'm glad you like it.
Thank you for your thoughts DonaldB but the blueish tones have more of the moody feel I want.
The scene is lovely and is shot from a pleasing angle to get the reflection and the bridge forming an eye catching C shape that becomes the center of our visual attention. The color grading works marvelously well in the lower 2/3 of the image but the blue toning is something of a distraction in the upper third, which already has too many distractions in the various objects in the background. It wouldn't be hard to mitigate the distractions. Definitely worthwhile especially if you intended to print it.

Thank you for your thoughts @minniev.
The bluish tones were brought up earlier in the thread. On my screen they are not distracting and help convey the mood I am aiming for.
