Your storytelling photos with richly written accompaniment are a powerful combination. As much as I have loved all your photo-only artistic dam birds these past seven years, I think a book or exhibit showcasing your creative writing skills would be awesome.

Like your shot. Very peaceful. To me it's a city vs country image. Very intriguing electrical towers - some look like a sailing ship masts(on the left), but to me the ones on the right are most interesting since they resemble elbows. The extreme right with "x" is captivating too. Great backdrop with the sky and fading sunset. Excellent.

There is a lot happening here...

Skater at almost impossible angle, his shadow- all against very colorful backdrop.
Viewer's eyes have to process alot.

You win a prize for capturing very simple veg and presenting it in totally different light. Brilliant. Your polka-dot background is very appropriate. Well done.

I admire your stamina and persistance for constantly returning to this unique location to capture goings on with those birds. Amazing source of fascination and your lens certainly shows us very intriguing relationships between birds and water etc
One can create daily log. Kudos.

I don't remember seeing peas with stalks. May be, never looked close enough to notice the stalks.
For that reason, it was not obvious to me.
    Great macro work.

Reminded me of a time when a goose was hit on one of the busy roads in my town. A big flock of geese gathered (I'd say few dozens).

That stalled the traffic for a while. The police had to work hard to get them off the road. I think they moved the dead goose first, IIRC, and the flock followed.

I wonder whether their conversation should be called a dialog or a monologue.
Sometimes, it's like that between two people :)

    Continuing with my B&W experimentation.

I felt that the B&W would go well with the 25th Anniversary theme... vintage feel.

If the purpose was to show the cupcakes by themselves, then they are actually colorful.

Charming subjects for your thinking-outside-the-cupcake box experiment! If the evidence hasn't been eaten, or if you have the opportunity to do another shoot like this, I'd love to see close-ups of just a few. I tried cropping to get six or nine and what is revealed are the swirly shapes and repeating patterns, with a nice tonal range.

With fewer in the photo, I think you'll still retain your desired "vintage feel."

That's a good tip. Thank you.
I will remember for the next time.

There were a few left when I shot this yesterday afternoon, but I am sure they are gone by now :)

PS: I wasn't going for the vintage look when I took that photo. It was only while editing that the idea came to me. I am reviewing every batch of photos recently and asking myself "which of these would look good in B&W?" I am usually taking the photos without thinking much. The next step would be think about B&W while taking the photos.
