I can feel the effort to find subjects to capture. Nice.

Colorful, playful "macro" image of a boat model with implied blue water and sky, whose effect is enhanced by the blurring effect of the very shallow DOF.
Clever, as usual.

Thanks Rich - good feedback. On the second one, I couldn't get any lower down but I agree about the F-stop

Well, you can now create the whole image from scratch there, without ever going outdoors in the real world. And probably make it more dramatic and eye-catching than the real thing.
But I still advocate using a wide aperture, in the wild, getting low and close to one's subject!

Last night I went out with my club around a local reservoir. It was warm but raining on and off and the light was very 'flat'. I managed to get one or two of what I think are decent shots but I'd value your opinions.
First off - as the sun came through the clouds at one point I took this - but which crop do you prefer?
This one. I would not crop it further.
Then, a foxglove against the res. background - once again, which crop do you prefer (and why)
This one. In the second one I want to see more of the reservoir.
Finally, I liked this panoramic view over the res. But do you?
Not too keen on this one, since you ask. There is no focal point and I want to know why you didnt take it further back.
It was clearly a difficult evening, but the top two here were well worth the effort.
Cheers

Thanks for the feedback.
TORO BRAVO IN VENETO
From the same early morning bike ride along the edges of the Laguna di Venezia, starting in Cavallino and riding up to Treporti.
At a certain point a strange sight caught the corner of my eye : a pair of giant horns sticking into the air, just visible over a concrete fence around the front garden of one of the farms there (many of them have seen better times). Obviously I got off my bike to investigate.
The pair of horns turned out to belong to a giant bull sculpture.
The kind one would rather expect somewhere on the open plains or oak fields of Andalucia or around Salamanca.
Not in Italy, surely!Such an oddity needed to be photographed (with the camera(s) I had with me - the GM5 and the Iphone).
The puzzle for me was to figure out how to get the best shot.
I could just about lean my camera a bit above eye level onto the top of the concrete fence.
But that was not ideal, because that kind of image showed the bull surrounded by all the clutter in that neglected garden. So I went looking for other options, and came up with this :
It's a shame you couldn't have got a little bit closer and got his leg in the frame. But a good capture.
Stitched Pano. I didn't notice the stitch issues in the middle until I posted it.
I can't see the issue.
