The display is an odd mixture of naturally occurring rock elements, natural things brought in from elsewhere (crystals and corals), manmade things (sculptures and lighting), all concocted with a 1930s vibe. It's little changed since it was put together.

That is correct. It is Rock City. If you recognized this, you should recognize these

The highlights nicely balance the darker patterns at the top left of your image. The subtle colors and tones are quite peaceful. Well done. Liquid does seem popular this week.

Thanks. Had to time it just right to avoid the signal lost warning.

Excellent Flickr page. You recorded a lot of cool images. I've never heard of Rock City. You made me want to visit.

Multiple layers going on here. Reality is being twisted and manipulated. The longer I look the more I see. Excellent experiment.

    Sun Rays.

Sun rays through water droplets, using a long exposure in the first image and a very short exposure in the second image.

    How was this actually created?

It looks like oils or pastels on canvas.

Wish it were larger (clicking on the "thumbnail does not result in a larger display).

    Great colors.

Terrific photos. Amazing examples of altering technique for completely different looks. Not sure which I like better.

Thank you. Pentax Q with 47mm eq. standard prime lens on tripod. Camera set to manual exposure and focus. Focused on 65" Sony 4k screen and picked slow shutter speed. Fired frames using wireless remote. The shooting window was tight. Had to fire in-between the flashing lost signal warning. Every so often picture would clear up, then lock again. Took quite a few to get correct exposure and no warning in image.

The picture displays larger when I tap the thumbnail.
    Thanks,

If you are on desktop, then right-click on image and "Open image in new tab" should work.

    OK, right-click works.

Just clicking on the image doesn't.

Clicking on the directly inserted external image does not work. You can insert external image address as a link - this way it will be clickable.

    @all users

For attached images - please use in-built means without trickery. Lately we changed preview images size from 500 to 1200 pixels and they now look detailed enough, no need to manually link full-size images anymore.
